Another update we have managed to find a large box for Belle so we have brought her in for the time being hoping that this will help thanks to everyone for there offers of help will keep you updated as to how she gets on

Hi folks just a quick update about our chuck Belle. We gave her the baytril which cured the infection in the eye, but the lump above her eye wouldn't go down and it became ulcerated. Our vet Andre operated and am pleased to say he removed all of the lump which he said was a fungal infection. Belle is now situated in our utility room at the moment and is making a great recovery. She has got to go back on the 27th Dec to have her stitches out. If anybody lives in the West Midlands area i recommend these vets very highly. It is called the Animal Hospital there is one in Coseley, Willenhall and Blackheath and the vet who specializes in chickens is called Andre. Thanks for all your posts and help with our chuck my wife and i wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
