Britannia Ovens (esp Range cookers) your experience

We got our first egg last week which we were all delighted with . We had to wait a couple more days until she laid some more as it was impossible to split one egg 5 ways.

 

I'm convinced it was DJ Nugget, our Black Star, who has laid the eggs as she had started to crouch when stroked on the back. Since then she has become much more confident in herself and not so skittish.

 

We also have a Columbian Blacktail (Millie) and a Speckledy (Ellis). We thought we should be able to tell the eggs apart easily as Ellis should lay speckled eggs and Millie dark brown eggs. However, some of the eggs are pale brown with no speckles and some have speckles all over and one had just a few speckles at one end.

 

Do you think I was right in thinking they are all DJ Nuggets eggs? Or should some credit go to the others? Neither of the other two have shown any change in behaviour and Ellis is positively jumpy everytime you go near her (always has been but shown up more due to DJ Nugget's sudden change in behaviour). We have had an egg a day since last Wednesday with the exception of Friday.
