Mercedes55
When we bought our Cube we didn't realise it came with the great big Glug so we ordered one of the normal grubs and glugs too. Only once we started using the glug did we realise it was leaking from the seam at the front. I phoned Omlet and they sent a replacement. Right from the start however I did wonder if there was a tiny leak at the back where the hooks are as I could see it was dripping a bit from there when I had filled it, but didn't really give it much thought as a lot of the time we were leaving the glug in situ and just topping it up with the watering can. However now the weather is getting colder and we worry about the water icing up we've started bringing both the food and drink in at night and it's become quite obvious just how badly the glug is leaking, but we've had it since about August I think. I'm just wondering whether I should get in touch with Omlet and see if they will replace the glug or should I just buy something totally different as 2 glugs having leaks isn't very good considering what they cost to buy
Christian
If they are faulty then I am sure Omlet would replace them.
Mercedes55
Well I plucked up the courage and phoned Omlet and they are sending a replacement. I have to send both the original faulty one back and also the current faulty one too. I just hope the new one is okay as I hate all this hassle
Mercedes55
Well I got my new glug this morning and couldn't wait to try it out and guess what, this new one leaks more than the old one. I now have 1 green glug that is fine and 3 purple ones that all leak. Although they are sending me a replacement it just seems ridiculous, so I am now thinking of buying a normal drinker but would appreciate any advice on the best type to buy that would be big enough for 8 hens The story continues **here**
