We've found that the best ones (so that they taste like real beer rather than home made) are the premium kits. We use the Woodforde or Munton kits We buy ours (and all the equipment) from an online shop called Art of Brewing, althoygh as they aren't that far away from us we usually pop down and collect. http://www.art-of-brewing.co.uk/ Click on the "Beer Kits - Premium" and scroll through to see the beer varieties. Teh equipment is listed separately. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable when I phone them (and I know very little about brewing), so I', sure they'd help if you gave them a call.
