thegalshumans
Hi, when I cracked open one of my hens eggs today there was a lot of blood in it, not just a few spots but lots. Does anyone know what may have caused this and is it fairly normal . My 3 hens all seem healthy and seem to be coping with the cold but I wonder if the big drop in temperature may have caused it. Many thanks
Snowy
Usually it's just a one off. One of the joys of having home grown eggs is that you get all the duff ones as well as the best ones! I always crack into a jug before adding to any other ingredients.
