dd noticed that Jessie the buff sussex has a sore eye. dd says there was abubble that she pooped. when I looked there is a layer over her eys like an eye infection. using my neonatal nurse skills do I just do routine eye care Clean with cotton wool and saline or do I need to do more. she is well but one of the other chickens is sneezing

Sounds like Tylan time = vets, chest infection and it spreads, eyes can be affected too.

It could be that they have Mycoplasma. I think that a trip to the vet with the one showing the most symptoms is in order. Let them know what is going on with the other one too so that they can prescribe for both.

whats mycoplasma. how much is vert likely to charge/ is it ok to eat eggs at the moment as they are from other chickens
