CrazyDaizy
Hia Folks I decided to "Flubenvet" my chooks, so they are confined to barracks for a week. They don't seem happy and the layers pellets with the flubenvat doesnt seem to be getting eaten very quickly. It's freezing cold out there, and all they want to do is huddle in the Eglu. I may let them roam later, in the sunshine that has come out. Just for an hour.
beach chick
harden your heart!!! make them eat those pellets before they venture out - they need to take the flub in over the course of the day, and if they are outside eating worms and stuff they wont be as hungry for the pellets. (it's taken me a while to learn the sense of this....)

Yep, that's exactly what I'm doing Beach Chick. After all, it's only for 7 days, it's not going to hurt them is it. Maybe tomorrow I will mash some of the treated pellets with warm water, see how they like that.
