chris_21
yesterday, i went outside to refresh my chickens water, and noticed that my blue partridge pekin was walking a little oddly (limping on one leg,i thought his feet might be frozen on the ice outside) so i picked him up and brought him in, put him infront of our halogen heater. He was fine, walking around the house like he owned the place, drinking and eating etc. He walked around for ages, then finally settled infront of the heater and stayed there all night. At bed time, i thought i better put him in a box, and leave him next to the radiator overnight (i didnt want to put him back in his house outside, as it was freezing, and he had been inside warm all evening. Today, i got back this afternoon, and went to get him out of the box, so he could have the stretch of the house again. He seems letargic, he didnt go to peck my fingers like normal, i put him next to the water bowl, and he just topples to one side. i gave him some water via an eye dropper, and he drank it, but wont drink from the bowl. he opens his eyes when i stroke him, but other than that he keeps them shut. His nostrils appears to be runny also (but he is breathing ok - possibly a little slowly- but no funny noises, sneezing etc), and his beak seems to be mucasy, and he isnt walking about. will put some pics on when i can upload them..
