2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

Hi:

Have just got my first Cube with extension run, 6 young lades moved in this morning.

Just interested how everyone finds moving it all? It says everywhere that it is so easy to move. We put ours together on the patio (level surface as it suggested) but had a really hard job moving the whole thing, run attached, into position. And this is worrying me as I was hoping to move it around every couple of weeks to keep the ground fresh. It was hard enough moving it empty, I am worried it might be almost impossible with 6 fairly large inhabitants.

You have to lift and pull it from the front once it's on it's wheels at the back if your trying to move it on your own (don't lift it too high at the front though). I also have to take the water and perchy things out to make it a bit easier. Your girlies will love it.

I used to have the cube attached to run plus 2 extensions making it heavier and more flexible. The only way I could move the combo was to get inside the run and lift it with my shoulders. If I tried to pull from the front it would just flex. I also found a bungee hook to hold up the front skirt was useful to stop it catching on long grass.

Thanks for the tips. There will always be two of us moving it, we will be having our first attempt at the weekend and I will let you know how we get on.

PS I expected to have great difficulty getting the girls away last night as they had never used a ladder before, but they were all in bed before dusk! I was impressed.
