Storing fertilized eggs to eat?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Well at last we have had our first Brahma egg  2 days ago and another one today  I had given up until spring, but they suprised me!

This is the first lot of chickens I have run with a cockerel and he is treading one of the hens on a regular basis (he has his favourite  ) so to stop the eggs from fertilizing before eating them, Is it best to keep them in the fridge? I am terrified of getting an egg with an embryo in for my breakfast :vom: even eating these eggs has made me feel strange although I know how old they are

cna anyone help?
