madclucker
How do you stop your girls getting dirty bottoms. I clean their run and coop out regularly but at the moment their bottom feathers are all pooey. Should I be worried?
Egluntyne
Have they been wormed recently? If not I'd treat them with Flubenvet.
madclucker
Does this make their poo runny? They seem healthy otherwise and are still laying, eating and drinking and generally being chickeny.
daxigirl
I washed Sunday Roast & Mosschops bums today as I was fed up of looking at skiddies down their feathers. I wonder if it's because they've had quite a few grapes lately? They were wormed back in October. Sunday can now be renamed as SunBum as it's the fluffiest backside you've ever seen and makes watching her run even funnier. I think they both rather enjoyed the warm water and hair dryer. JanTheDiver
A couple of mine often seem to have mucky bottoms, they don't have runny poo and they are wormed regularly, I think it is just they way they are It seems to notice on the darker chooks than the lighter coloured ones.
