NickyN
I have 3 lovely chickens who are all well and tonight a neighbour arrived with a stray found in our estate. We are trying to find out who it belongs to. I have put in next to my girls as this is the only run I have for it with a shelter and food and drink. Just thinking if we don't find the owner what would be a good plan? Any ideas?
Egluntyne
I'd keep it separate from yours as it may bring an illness to your flock. Can you borrow an old rabbit hutch or similar? Have you a shed or greenhouse, or even a corner of the garage that could be barricaded off? Often these 'Chickens of Fate' are cockerels which have been dumped. I hope you can find its owner.
