chris_21 Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 hi there people i have a little problem with my incubator the little lcd screen on the top on my brinsea incubator as got condensation i have put it next to a radiator and the condensation as still not gone do any of you lot know how to get rid of this as i want to start to use it again soon . Lewis Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 I think you need to get it to room temp rather than warmer? Is there any way of screwing the black top bit off to let air to it? chris_21 Posted January 3, 2011 Author Share Posted January 3, 2011 hi thanks for your reply the thing is i have left the incubator to rest for about 2 weeks now and the condensation is still there. i don't like fidling with electronics as i am useless when it comes to that my main worry is that it might of affected the screen that tells you what the temp is and the rh is. Redwing Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 if a phone gets misted up one way to dry it out is to put it in a bag with some uncooked rice for a week and that dries it out I dont know if you could do the same with the top of an octagon, its a bit bigger!!
