Trougher - I had the same thing with mine but on a visit to the vet he explained that their feathers had been so badly damaged that the chances of them growing back ever again were very slim - the ends of them are dead and there is no blood supply coming through to them. Maybe they won't grow back then, we'll have to wait and see. Doesn't seem to bother them anyway. As long as they are well and happy, that's what's important. Thanks all for the answers.
