After my initial trauma of no eggs my Ginger Spice has now been laying most days for about 1 month. I am still waiting to confirm if my 3 others end up being hens!!! However my next oldest hen is now just about old enough to lay and low and behold I have got home this afternoon at 4.30 and found 2 eggs. At 6.30 this morning there was nothing but Ginger was on the verge!! How do I know which eggs are from who as they both look the same white shelled and next to each other? Can 1 hen lay 2 eggs in this time slot or has Snow White finally come up trumps?

It takes about 23 hours for an egg to develop and be laid, I beleive so it is possible for two laid in one day. But it could be another hen laying
