ermm... I can think of one or two who strike me a little differently

 

Have you heard the old wives tale that you are supposed to tell bees news, I'm not sure if its any news or just bad news? Because if you don't, then bad things might happen It sounds lot of tosh to me, but a few days ago my MIL was very determined to go up the garden to tell them about 2 close family members who have died and today my co-beek came round to ask me if I'd heard this theory, which is a strange coincidence

You are supposed to tell the bees if their keeper has died or the colonies will abscond or die.

My initial post was to illustrate how we are all perennial optimists....this year will be a good one

and yes, now is a very optimistic time of year for beekeepers
