beckyfitz
I was very pleased to finally have my WIR put up last Spring so my ducks & chooks can exercise in safety. It does get very wet in there though & I would love to put some sort of roof on. It is an aluminium cage style, with mesh sides & netted roof. It does the job very well but doesn't support a lot of weight. Last autumn I bought a clear tarpaulin to cover half & managed to fix it with eyelets, to make a slight slant I laid an extra pole across the middle (very difficult to picture I know!) Anyway, to cut a long story short during a rainy night the weight of the rain brought my whole run down!!! Managed to fix it, but have run out of ideas, still have the tarp but don't know what to do with it! Any ideas?? Becky x
Plum
How big? I'd be tempted to drive in wooden stakes at each corner and make a roof frame with a bit of slope to sit on them then cover that with clear corrugated PVC.
beckyfitz
Its quite big, 2.5 x 7m. I'm worried that if I add over the top it will be taller than I'm allowed re: planning regs. Becky x
