Vent question

Recommended Posts

One of my bantam marans seems to have her vent protruding a bit more than usual, it also seems to flex a fair bit. She seems completely fine in all other ways and is happily scratching around the garden, eating and laying as normal. She and her sister have laid all winter. They have both been moulting, but this one Ronnie, is nearly fully feathered. I haven't had any abnormal eggs from either girl, but just wonder if she has strained herself and has chicken piles? As I say she is unconcerned by it and is healthy, none of the others are interested in it and her vent is a normal light pink colour, she does receive attention from Onion my cockerel, but no more than the others! Any ideas?
