coco
Why do chickens go broody in pairs, Fizz and Pipa have both gone broody today and are sitting in opposite nest boxes. At least they will be company for each other in the broody cage.
jimnpaula
Maybe they both think, "well it must be a good time for raising chicks seeing as she's broody too." P
fluffy chick
2 of mine are broody too! I thought the same thing at least they have company! There are 2 nesting boxes but they choose to nest together most of the time! Nowt as queer as chickens lol
fluffy chick
Actually, make that 3 !!! I think it's catching! I keep kicking them out the nest and they'll eat and drink and go straight back in. If I shut them our they (well bramble) kicks off and I worry about the neighbours complaining! so I'm just hoping they get over it quickly. My friend wants to give me fertile eggs (don't tempt me)
