goodinparts
2 weeks into life at the vicarage, one of my miniscule Belgian bantams has produced her first All 20g of it She didn't make it into the nest box, so at 8.00 this morning any neighbour who had happened to be looking would have been treated to the vision of a middle-aged vicar in her pyjamas crawling on her stomach into the ,where at the furthest corner the wondrous egg lay. Then, of course, I had to do the egg dance. And squeee a bit (a lot, really) The hybrids looked on with stony disapproval."After all", they said, "we do this thing for you everyday..." goodinparts
No - nothing since! But the babies decided to roost with the big girls in the cube tonight, so perhaps they will teach them about a) where eggs should go and b)remind them that laying can be achieved! But I really didn't get the banties hoping for more than an occasional egg.
