chicken bark Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 I've read that a good LED torch is better for candling than a candling torch as it is more powerful so can see through darker eggs. Redwing Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 If you are going to hatch regularly then a high intensity candler would be best Failing that then a small headed torch would be best, a maglite would be good From a practical point of view a torch with a head the size of a 10p and where the glass is slightly recessed so there is a rim frame to hold the hlunt end of the egg against would be good as that will concentrate the light more Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
