oneyolktoanother
I love it! i never thought i would get so attached and the girls would become such a big part of the family never thought i would be very addictied to buying chicken books , the oh says stop buying never thought i would get morehens so quickly and always be thinking of ways to make room for more even if it means moving to a bigger house and bigger garden or getting rid of plants to make room never thought i would be on a chicken site, my family think i'm nuts the only downside can be pecking problems but soon sort them out! i can honestly say the garden would be so empty without them
Chortle Chook
i can honestly say the garden would be so empty without them Yes that is so exactly what I think. I may have had a neat cottage style garden before, full of perennials, but it was somehow empty. A friend of mine came round recently and was totally transfixed by the little heads bobbing about everywhere
chickenNutter
A zillion times better! I am amazed at their personalitites and it has made me so much more interested in birds in general. Can't imagine life without them now. One of the best decisions I have made in life.
Dolly
Mainly I had absolutely no idea how besotted I'd become with my girls and also how much money I'd end up spending on them (mind you I have never dared add it up)! Even after a couple of years, I expect our eggs are costing about £5 each!!
