Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I found this on ebay and common sense tells me that it can't work or you hatching experts would all be using them but has anyone tried them? I almost wonder if they're an April Fool

Got one of these but it doesn't do anything. Did use it to retrieve the cake tin lid from behind the radiator though.

Well, it had it's uses then, so not a total waste of money!!

You've only confirmed what I thought, if they were any use at all EVERYONE would use them and there'd be no problem with unwanted cockerels etc.
