carrie
My sons 12 and 13 have been going on about Xbox live for ages and we keep saying no. Today is youngest sons birthday and he desperataly wants it-all his friends have it! I know nothing about it really, they say there is more to the games when you play on live Please impart your amazing omleteer wisdom and let me know what you think of it Thanks Carrie
Chucky Mama
Many of my sons' friends have all got it too but there is no way I would even consider it (boys are 13 and 17). My nephew's parents have just let their 13 year old have it because of peer pressure (parent & child) and are now trying to convince themselves that it is a good idea but are struggling. It is the source of many arguments. Many of the children who have it have no restrictions imposed and so the peer pressure doesn't end at getting the Xbox as you have the 'oh but so and so is going to be on it at whatever hour and so and so doesn't have any restrictions on how long they can play on it' etc. Er pros....your child will have something that their friends have.
