Very excited about my green classic which came yesterday, and we're off to get our hens on Friday! but I'm worried about the egg port door. I rang omlet and spoke to Quin, and have emailed them some photos of how wobbly it is, and how far you can pulll it open, but haven't heard back.

anyone else got a wobbly door. do I need to stop worrying, or hope that omlet will send me a replacement.

I have got the opposite problem with my new Classic, a very stiff egg port door that takes a tussle to open!

Perhaps you two should swop .

 

Omlet are usually very good at sending replacement parts so I would wait till you hear from them . It should fit fairly snugly so doesn't sound right.

Ours was fairly stiff to begin with, but soon loosened up

Mine sits proud of the actual eglu but once I've done it up it doesn't rattle about. I was worried it would leak with it not being flush but it seems ok so far.
