I need to make a run for my growers (only 2 left, managed to rehome 3 cockerels so far ), I have a small coop and a metal trixie run which will be ideal. In the day they will have access to a run made with omlet netting as well. How can I foxproof the run floor so foxes can't dig underneath (it will be on grass and don't want to use slabs) I thought of using the rabbit underfloor wire from Omlet

I've used 1x0.5 weldmesh under my big run, it sticks out all around the run and is held down by tent pegs

 

I dont expect to ever get the wire back up though, that would be a nightmare as it mixes with the soil and grass pretty quickly
