basilsageherb
Can anyone help? My best and healthiest hen died a week ago (no idea why - was 'off' for 2 days and then popped her clogs in the night). My remaining 3 hens have been laying eggs with either membrane shells or shells so thin that you put your fingers through them when you pick them up! This is something one of them does on a fairly regular basis, but not the others. They have grit in their food, are given layers pellets with a bit of corn mixed in, have a bowl of grit that they can help themselves from and have access to grass. They are in a large outdoor pen, with a nesting pen (with run) which we lock them in a night. We also give them a few pinches of some nutrient powder in their food each day. Can anyone help?
