LottieR Posted May 10, 2011 Share Posted May 10, 2011 One of our chickens is pooing what looks like egg yoke with blood in it, the is also a dark yellow liquid which had dripped down her feathers around her vent and what looks like poo stuck in it. The Dogmother Posted May 10, 2011 Share Posted May 10, 2011 If it's a softie then there won't be any shell visible, but if you're at all suspicious that she has a broken egg inside her, then you MUST take her to the vet pronto as it's serious and she will need antibs and possibly the remains of the egg removing.
