Hen Party Games

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I'm going on a friends hen do next month. A Bruges cruise! (Two nights cruise to Bruges and back).

One friend is organising it and I happened to ask in passing what, if any, games she had organised for maybe on the train trip to Southampton. Well somehow it's turned into me being the 'gamesmaster'!

Me and my mouth. LOL.

So I wondered if you lovely lot had any ideas? I don't know the bride really well (I was invited along as we get on well, but it's my OH she works with. But I don't think smuggling him onto a hen do would work really!) and as far as I can tell her Mother, Aunt and sisters are all attending too, so the games shouldn't be too risqué. I was just thinking of some ice breaker games to get everyone knowing each other and be more relaxed. I've been told the hen has got us pink sashes to wear so I'm guessing she wouldn't be totally mortified by a little decoration. (She's a police officer so I thought she definitely needs some pink fluffy handcuffs!)

I've already thought of a kind of Mr & Mrs game and will email her fiancé with a stack of questions. Any she gets wrong will involve a forfeit. A list of which I will write up and put in a bag. (Not just 'down another drink'. Things like Sing an embarrassing song of your friends’ choice, Kiss the person on your right on the cheek, hop on one leg for 30 secs etc.)

Any other games ideas would be great. Maybe ones everyone can join in on, as well as ones just for the bride to be.

Thanks omletters

Well i got my answers back from the groom for the 'mr and mrs' type game. He said there are some on there he knows she won't get so definitely in line for some forfeits.

No idea what other type of game I could sort. Anyone?

A sort of go get it game? Each person has a list of so many items they have to bring to chief bridesmaid..some a bit risque. Quickest & most accurate wins.

After eight eating game..a bit messy but funny. Place an After Eight on your forehead & get it in your mouth using just facial movements. Did this at Xmas once - very funny!

I was at my daughter's hen do yesterday and it was a lovely day organised by her friends. We had two games in the afternoon before going out for a meal and drinks in the evening.

The games involved questions about the bride to be and we had to guess what her partner had answered - but it was done in the style of pass the parcel, with a sweet as the pressie if the answer was correct, no forfeits, and no embarassment but lots of fun. A good icebreaker!

The second game involved us being divided into teams (1, 2, 1, 2 around the room) to create a wedding dress out of toilet paper in just 10 minutes with people you don't really know. We had four people in our team and one was the model. The bride to be had to choose the winner.

Then we just sat and chatted. It was much more fun than going and getting trashed as far as I was concerned. And my daughter was relieved too. :D
