poachedegg
After our Brinsea candler arrived this morning myself, OH & DD (9) went into our small utility, blacked out the door with a towel. Once we candled the first egg (day eight) and being able to see a moving blob, DD just had to go and get her big brothers, so me, OH, DD, ES (20) & YS (17) all gathered around as each egg was candled! We think 4 are fertile and are unsure about the other 2, so will candle those in another couple of days - it was really good to see, even the boys were fascinated! Griffin
I never tire of candling and my daughters enjoy seeing tiny chicks bobbing around in there
