HENthusiastic
I have just heard that if you boil a quail egg and then pop it in vinegar, the shell will disolve!!! I tried it and its true!! The first one I did I left in over night and it tasted VERY vinegery. The second one I did I popped into the vinegar at 9am and then took it out at about 6pm. Peeled off the inner film thingy (very easy to do) and popped it straight into a glass of water. It only tasted a teeny weeny bit of vinegar. Fab. They look so nice when they are whole in their boiled shape but I can't be bothered to peel one. This is my ideal solution!
beach chick
you can also buy a quail-egg-peeling machine, but they cost a fortune, so have decided to just use child labour instead!!
