ohcarolina Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 My friends Budgie is ill and I was wondering if any of you knowlegable people could offer advice as we can't get her to the vets until tomorrow. Yesterday evening she noticed that Chloe was scratching her bottom like mad, had pulled out feathers and pecked herself till she bled. She bathed the budgie which seemed to calm her but not for long so she rubbed in some emollient. The budgie is still pecking and scratching. Soemone has suggested it could be budgie mite.
