CatsCube
Im just about to start making some adaptations to my broodys house ready for chick arrivals, and Im wondering what to do about the run, its a triangle shape with a mesh roof, will this be okay or do I need to put some sort of tarp over this to protect the chicks from the rain? chuckmum6
I had the exact same problem and have used a summer shade from my cube it works brilliantly on my Forsham ark. Have used a long bungee at the nest box end it sits around where the wood overlaps. So far it has remained nice and dry inside.
CatsCube
have you covered the whole thing or just part of it, I worry that by covering the whole thing it stopping them getting much sunlight and fresh air.
chuckmum6
No, just cover the top part, when I get a moment I'll take a photo.
