Looney
Not sure which are poisonous but can assure you that most plants won't last two seconds in the run as they will have eaten them before you can say "cor blimey, that chicken is eating my....."!!!! Mine seem to leave certain garden plants alone (mostly the spiky ones) but anything tender looking they chomp away at
Kathy C
Not sure which are poisonous but can assure you that most plants won't last two seconds in the run as they will have eaten them before you can say "cor blimey, that chicken is eating my....."!!!! This is my experience too. Anything in "chicken stretch", they seem to start pecking and forget to stop. Gently ease them away and they walk around you, its hopeless. 3 fushias in one weekend! Bedding plants are undermined in their digging, too. So far the new rose has been avoided and the dogwood is frantically trying to grow out of reach.
