tanyag
I had an established flock of 4 girls, which I got in February. I introduced two new POL two and a half weeks ago. There was a bit of bullying to begin with, but we got through this ok, and with the help of anti feather pecking spray. One newbie has been fine, she is bigger and started laying today. The other one is still a few weeks off laying, she is very small and still only has tiny white ridges instead of red. She has always been quiet, and is bottom of the tree, so has to run the gauntlet to move around. For the past week she has just been standing on her own, fluffed up, head in, and her tail is down (although I have never seen it up). She is still eating and drinking ok, but I can hold her in one hand and she just closes her eyes. I know she isn't right, does anyone have any suggestions please? I have been in touch by the person I got her from, but no response yet. Thanks
Egluntyne
As she has appeared unwell for a week, it might be a good idea to ask a vet to have a look at her. I'd give her a Basic Health Check to see if it sheds any light, first.
