PeckyBeak Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Gabby my Welsummer has a bald patch at the front of her neck, some tail feathers missing and generally looks tatty. I have treated all of the girls for NFM with Ivermectin and Johnson's anti-mite spray recently, which I think have now gone. A few of the other girls have some feathers missing around the end of their backs, but I put this down to cockerel damage. I can't see anything on her, could it be any early moult or how can I tell if it is the de-plumage mite? Should I spray her neck area with the Johnson's? Any advice would be welcome.
