chickenherder
Good Morning All I am relatively new to hatching ducks (usually am a chicken person). Of the recent batch of eggs I hatched we sadly only had one duck hatch, he/she is quite happy with their chick friends at the moment but I am thinking about company as they get a bit bigger. Should I have a try at hatching again so he/she has company of its own kind or would they be ok on their own? (with an small army of chickens for company) Thanks in advance for your help & advice
Love Pets
yes, you should. You cant get 1 female and 1 male.Because the female will get stressed by the male.If the ducks are for eggs, You can just have 2 females. they do lay eggs by themselves But the eggs wont hatch.
