What a day !!Out of our seven eggs( 5 cream legbar , 1 maran and one bluebelle/orpington ) 2 cream legbars have hatced and 1 maran.The blue/belle /orpington is pipping but no signs from the other cream legbars. The maran came out of a large egg and seemed very efficient at hatching . It took the legbars much longer.Such a little miracle to watch them hatch . My children were just so thrilled to watch the whole process. Not sure I now want to go to bed as am keen to see the bluebelle/ orpington hatch - this egg is by far the smallest so am hoping he or she is healthy .The incubator is looking a bit like a bombsite now and the chicks are hilarious bashing around the place! am so thrilled we have got this far fingers crossed for the other 3.
