is Bob Martins dog spot on ok for cats?

Recommended Posts

Hubby has just been shopping and come back with some of it for dogs. I said wheres the dog we are going to put this on then? As we got it free (mix up in Sainsburys, long story, don't ask) we can't really return it, so was wondering since the cat version is so rubbish on cats, would the dog one be ok to use instead?

Cheers me dears :D

No, I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be used on cats - mt daughter works for the RSPCA Harmsworth hospital in London and they have a lot of animals brought in treated incorrectly with Bob Martin products, I would suggest you buy some Frontline type stuff from one of the on- line vets, I use Vet UK , reasonable prices and very fast delivery.

Definitely don't use it on the cats. If it contains permethrin it could kill your cat. If it doesn't it will be too strong for your cats if it is intended for dogs. The Bob Martin Double Action spot on for cats is fine but the dog version will contain too much for a cat.
