I was having a crazy chicken lady moment last night and suggested that I put a fan near the WIR to help cool the girls down as it was 37.C yesterday.

But my very clever hubby thinks it won't have an affect on them as chickens pant and don't sweat and a fan cools by evaporative cooling which only works on mammals that sweat.

 

thoughts?
