cliveb Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Hi A bit of help please. My girls free range over the garden and our Mono-Block the problem is that the Mono-Block gets full of weed. I have weeded it but it takes forever and after a few days it starts to grow back. So here is the question: Does anyone know of a weed killer that really is Chicken Safe? kissinuk Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 There are pet safe weed killers that use natural plant acids but to be honest theyre not that good. I have used salt before, infact I even have a salt applicator for dandelions - if you go that route buy cheap dish washer salt. Personally if you can keep the chooks off the area until the weeds are dead I'd use a real weedkiller. Greengardener.co.uk may have more ideas.
