Unsecure chicken perches

Sorry if the answer to this has already been posted elsewhere, I'm new to the forum and still finding my bearings!

 

I am looking to buy my first Eglu, and am hoping to save a few pennies by going for a second hand one, through here or ebay. To give myself more options I am wanting to explore the possibility of using a courier for collection rather than limit myself to local sales. I have read on here about using Shiply but they need the weight and dimensions and I can't seem to find this info on the Omlet website. Can anyone help?

 

Also I read on here that some of you had used a 'man with a van'. Is said man still around?

 

I'm really keen to get the right Eglu asap as I want to get my chooks before the end of the summer...
