Chicken with mucky bum

Recommended Posts

One of my hens has had a mucky bum for a couple of days and this morning she layed a normal egg but there was a bit of blood on it and a bit on the straw in the nest box.I have just given her a bath and can't see any signs of mites, maggots or blood.Could a mucky bum be a sign of worms? I am going to start worming with flubenvet today and going to put some mite powder on aswell. She is eating normally and seems ok in herself.
