woodi
After 4 days our new arrivals are finally settling down a bit and getting braver. Watching them is compulsive, but seems to be paying off and they are prepared to venture into their run with me there, which is progress. Our Welsummer is a good bit bigger than the other girls, who all seem to be scared to bits of her - I'm hoping that they'll get used to each other after a while. No eggs, of course, but having read some other posts, it looks like we could be waiting for a while. I'm hoping that they don't decide to wait until next spring! Any idea if they are likely to start laying this late in the year? thanks Woodi
