muzzboy Posted September 8, 2011 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Was wondering during the moult does the hen stop laying have not had a egg for 3weeks they have got over the worse of the moult as the coop and run are almost feather free or have I got other problems with them they all seem happy eating well and picking up what they can around the garden any advise on this matter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
moochoo Posted September 8, 2011 Share Posted September 8, 2011 No you're right they do stop laying. I can take as long as 12 weeks for a full moult and for the hen to recover.
