muzzboy Posted September 23, 2011 Share Posted September 23, 2011 Have introduced 2new hens last Sunday there has been a little bit of pecking going on in the day as I thought there would be but I have noticed that when its bed time my cockeral and the main hen peck the 2 newbies no blood is drawn but is sad to see shall I use peck spray or just leave them sort it out themselves. gongladosh Posted September 23, 2011 Share Posted September 23, 2011 as long as the pecking isn't too bad and no injuries are occurring, I'd be inclined to leave them to sort themselves out It's quite common for hens at the bottom of the pecking order to get a peck or two at bedtime.
