auntielizzie Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 I thought I had got the better of her, but no I was wrong She kept escaping over the Omlet netting by jumping up on to the next box (which sticks out from the chicken house), then jumping onto the roof and flying across the netting into the garden. All very well, but the garden is not chicken-proof and I have already had to retrieve her from next door's garden once this week. So, got the scissors out and clipped a wing. Betty not happy with this, but we managed. Within ten minutes she tried to jump on to the nest box - ha ha, she couldn't do it I thought I had won the battle ..... until this morning. I'm getting along with the housework indoors, happened to look out of the window and guess what - Betty is on the lawn, peckily happily away!
