Poorly chicken

OH finished at the weekend an extension to the WIR to allow the chickens a bit more room and guess what all of them are mostly stuffed in that part only. I'm hoping its because its new so a bit of a novelty and the new ground to dig up otherwise defeats the object! Today they only moved out when they thought someone was going to the other side to give them some treats.

when i did my clean out after worming this weekend i put aubiose down for the first time and not one of the girls would come down off the cubes ladder. They just stared at it and bokked at it. I had to tempt them down with a handful of corn. They weren't happy and tried to lift their feet up to avoid standing on it .I laughed for so long. They soon scratched and pecked up the corn forgetting they were on new strange bedding .

They'll get used to it.
