Well I have seen it all! Dill (ex batt) has just hopped in the back door and tried to eat the dog food! While the dog was eating it Thankfully the dog only headbutted her away

Mine do the same to the cat - and she lets them. Thankfully not chicken flavoured! I've even got a child proof gate at my back door to try and stop them getting in, but they are crafty.

I used to feed the dogs outside but I use a tin treat dish for the girls so they used to come running as well and try to get stuck in. The yorkie is protective over her food with the other dogs but bizarrely will let the cat or chickens get it. Needless to say the dogs now get fed indoors with the kitchen door shut just in case!
