Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Peggy (under hen of 6 exbatts) has never laid since we've had her. Either we'd get soft shell, or yolk, but never together. After being a bit down and not eating, the vet (hen expert) gave her some Boost X treatment, and she rapidly improved, since then no egg shell or yolks.

Today (3 weeks on) she started her distinctive beep beeping that signaled an egg on the way. What came out was a MASSIVE lash, the size of an egg. Never seen one so big before (or smell so bad )

She's still healthy and eating/drinking - poos ok, and fluffing up well post-moult.

Would you do anything extra? No discharge now.

Yuck, I should think she feels better after that . Perhaps she'll lay a proper egg now . I don't think you need to do anything, just keep an eye on her.

Thanks for that. I think she'll stop laying permanently now, I'm certainly tired of s"Ooops, word censored!"ping egg from the others feathers
